Our history
From humble beginnings in 1980 by brothers Brian and Geoff De Campo, with one truck
transporting cattle and potatoes, the company while remaining a family business, has transitioned
over 40 years into a nationally recognized short and long-haul transport, logistics and
storage operation, with 12 trucks (prime movers and rigid configurations) and a range of
trailers.
Over the past three decades De Campo Transport have developed a high level of expertise
in “cold chain” movement of fresh and processed agricultural products for local, national and
overseas human consumption. This component of their business mix has become a key and
integral part of the De Campo service offering, and further investment in this rapidly
expanding industry segment forms a significant part of the company’s future business
strategy.
The company’s operation is particularly well located to meet the transport and logistics
demands and opportunities flowing from the Southern Forest initiative actively supported by
the State Government and embraced by a burgeoning local and regional agribusiness
industry.
